Just wanted to say thanks for having us on your program last Thursday and thanks so much for praying for our trial this week. These few neighbors who are suing us, only one person paying for it because none of them work, were ordered to show up at the pre-hearing conference last week. As much as this is ruining their lives and they just can't live with a racetrack in their community do you know Not One of them showed up at the pre-hearing conference. So we just pray that God gives the Judge the knowledge he needs to figure out what great people racers are and what great kids racers are raising. You can just tell a racer's kid, they are special, they respect their elders, they enjoy spending time with them and they are proud of them. Most are taught respect and responsibility from a very young age from generations of elders that go to the races together and go to church together. We went to the races with four generations a lot of times and that always made you proud that even though you have a teenager they want to be with you because they love something you love and they respect others and they're responsible for getting that car worked on and to the races every week. And there's not too many places you can go and leave your stuff and know that no one's going to bother it either, church and the races, is all I can think of. My daughter doesn't understand how the neighbors can "be so mean". Recently she asked me how old she was when she went to her first race and I had to think, (of course I have pictures too) but she was 2 1/2 months old, her birthday is end of July 1999, and we were at the DTWC in WV that October with her, our teenage son at the time who is now 22, and their grandparents, and we all had a blast and we all enjoyed the weekend Together!! These neighbors who are suing us said taking kids to the races should be considered child abuse. They have no clue. We can only hope God will give them one or at least give the Judge a clue. One of the neighbors said she was glad we didn't put in a mobile home park here and our attorney said "What, you wouldn't have liked that either?" She said, "No, but you can't close down a mobile home park, can you?" We don't get how they can close down racing either, and hopefully they can't. And it looks like Ma nature is going to be on our side and we're going to get to race tomorrow!! Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers and all your support. Thanks to everyone in the racing community, some of which are driving a couple hours to testify on our behalf next week. We really appreciate it!! I guess this didn't get posted because I couldn't figure out the letters right, but to update you, the prayers worked and we had a Great Night of Racing Friday Night with Devin Gilpin taking the Mt. Orab Ford Modified win, he is only 19 and if you go to his website www.devingilpin.com you will be amazed at his profile, he has had a lot of success at his young age and is going to be very successful in the future and he's a great guy. Anyways, our trial is this week so please keep us in your prayers. They worked last week as I just received an email that 31 of the 38 plaintiffs were dismissed from the case for failure to comply with even filling out interrogatories. So God put this place here and I'm sure he will keep it here. Thank you all so much and we'll see you on the 21st. Kim Moler
